A little bit about our menu…

The Knife & Fork Garden Café proudly supports our local farmers, butchers and businesses. Some of our wonderful suppliers are: Country Corner Market, Tree & Twig Heirloom Vegetable Farm, Devries Fruit Farm and Chez Fromage. As well, we visit our local farmer’s markets weekly to discover what wonderful Niagara produce is available from which to create our weekly specials.

In support of a casual dining atmosphere our menus are designed for our guests to fill out and hand in to Chef Ruth through our ordering window. So take your time, order at your leisure and your feast will appear momentarily!

We would also like briefly describe some of the wonderful cheeses you will come across on our menu:

L’Hercule de Charlevoix is a raw milk cheese produced from Jersey Cow Milk in Quebec. Aged 18 months, the aroma of this cheese is creamy and complex with a full, nutty finale that is enhanced by the earthy, toasted flavour of the rind.

Paired with braised short ribs, Thunder Oak Smoked Gouda is produced by Gouda cheese makers in Thunder Bay, Ontario. This is a fresh milk cheese produced from Holstein cows without the addition of any preservatives or colours. Creamy, with a fruity and slightly sweet flavour, this Gouda has been hickory smoked to give it a gentle bonfire smoke taste.

Our goal is to provide an experience that is relaxing, fun and full of fabulous food! We value your thoughts, comments and experiences so please feel free to share them with our staff at any point during your visit!
