The Knife & Fork Garden Café
The Whisk & Ladle opened The Knife & Fork Garden Café in June 2010. It was Ruth’s vision that this neglected and overgrown patio would one day be transformed into a culinary garden retreat for guests to enjoy.
In this intimate and lush dining environment, our guests enjoy seasonal, locally produced Niagara ingredients, which are showcased on our gourmet summer menu. Some of The Knife & Fork Garden Café favourites are our Grilled Thunder Oak Smoked Gouda & Braised Short Rib Sandwich on our housemade Focaccia; our Niagara Fruit Cobbler served with freshly whipped vanilla cream and to wet your whistle, our freshly squeezed homemade lemonade!
Bursting with freshly grown herbs and brightly coloured flowers, The Knife & Fork Garden Café invites you to relax and enjoy a culinary adventure in our secret garden.
Open June 1, 2011 through September 1, 2011, 11am-3pm Wed-Sat and 12pm-3pm Sundays. Reservations are recommended but not required. Patio may be rented for special events with advanced notice. Please call the store for details. Take-Out also available.
